I thought “Oh joy, my first assignment!” I just HAD to go, and I’m SO glad that I did. Their vision is this, “an experience of commUNITY celebrating life Divine together under One banner of Love, Peace, Health, Bliss and Abundance.”

In one evening I was touched by an angel, captivated by a monkey chant and drawn into dancing in the moment!

The event began with Jivamukti Yoga with Kristan Watson. This was my first time practicing Jivamukti Yoga so I had no idea what to expect. Kristen made it fun and inspiring, a gentle soul with a beautiful smile. I really enjoyed her message, chanting and joy for life.

Indian Dancing was next with Kirti Srivastava. Although I felt like a clumsy sloth the classy was great fun and definitely something that I want to try again. I had to cut the class short and move on to what was my highlight of the evening…

With the price of admission everyone had an opportunity to sign up for a healing session with an Infinity Holistic Network Master Healer.  Upon receiving the event email I was instantly drawn to an angel named Renee Ariya. Her story is captivating. I felt I must meet her and signed up for her 6pm healing session. My session was incredible, I felt like I was meant to be there, almost like a dream. Renee looked so familiar to me, like I’ve known her. It was a beautiful loving experience, its really hard to discribe, I have a feeling that everyone will have there own unique experience….you must try it for your self!

The Balinese Monkey Chant followed with Andrew Jones. I was woozy after my energy work so I sat outside the room and was captivated by the infectious energy that was being generated.

Meditation with Ariel White of Infinite Essence and Renee Ariya followed. I enjoyed this very much. The room was jammed pack and the energy we all created, I’m sure, could be felt for miles around. If you’ve never meditated in a large group I highly recommend it. There is scientific evidence that supports the idea that meditation with others is a powerful force. Meditation in groups has been credited with curing disease, reversing aggression, and saving people from famine – so if you get an opportunity, join a group to celebrate the power of meditation.

At this point in the evening I was getting very sleepy, I was about to leave when the Kirtan Jam began! Jason Roman (Krishna Kirtan) and Prem Darshan created such a soulful frequency the got EVERYONE on their feet dancing. Our vibe wafted out and attracted people in off the street. The vibrations have stayed with me throughout the day and I’m still singing along to the melody. Amazing.

Last but certainly not least a fabulous Community Marketplace: Featuring We Love Superfoods, Soul Stylezs and Mamas Market.

To sum it all up, this event was a devine way to begin or continue ones evolution.

Well, what do I do now?! First of all don’t panic! Second, and most importantly, stay centered. What’s happening is inevitable and I’m choosing to look at the bright side, go with the flow and spread the good word.

That is where EVOLUTION ENCINITAS was born. I feel truly blessed to live in Encinitas! It’s a privilege really. I ended up here in such a round about way that I believe it must have been at the hands of a power greater then my own. Encinitas, I believe, is a sacred place. Most obviously because of Paramahansa Yogananda’s fulfilled prophecy of having a hermitage built here. They say that there is an energy here, a vibration that draws people of like vibration to it. The more people I meet the more clear this becomes. Their stories are so similar yet each distinctly remarkable and inspiring.  Has the essence of his holiness guided us here? I’m not sure, but one thing is for sure…the longer I’m here, the deeper I’ve gone into myself and into my surrounding community. Like a vortex drawing me inward and outward at the same time.

The amount of options here for heightening spiritual, emotional and physical wellness and awareness is like no other. There is a plethora of classes, meetup groups, practitioners, vendors, events and natural wonders available year round. Its considered to be the “Yoga Mecca of America.” My question is this…is this type of lifestyle a step in the right direction of humanities evolution? If there really is a radical crisis threatening our very existence, than I’m up for the challenge! If we must evolve or die, then I’m going to die trying to evolve!

My vision with this is to share with you my personal path of enlightened living as well as the path of others that I come in contact with. I welcome your opinion and experiences, lets increase this beautiful energy flow, similar to a stone being thrown into a pond, a ripple effect that spreads much farther than Encinitas.
